RANDLE J. RECORD is the founder and president of the NATIONAL CENTER for THOUGHT LIFE. He has been an ordained minister since 1986 and served 12 years with the Louisville Metro Police Department and the Jefferson County (KY) Sheriff’s Office. Record’s pastoring and policing careers have allowed him to witness first-hand the devastating effects of pornography on individuals, families, and the Church. Randle Record has discovered that when you FIX YOUR EYES, you fix the church, you fix the family, and you fix the community.
Growing up in a small town in Kentucky set the stage for me to be a Southern boy who loved to boat, camp, fish, and hunt. There is no doubt that the witness of my mom and her consistently taking me to church brought me to the point where Jesus changed my life and future. After college at Union University in Jackson, TN, and marrying my wife, Susan, we moved to Louisville, KY. There, I completed my Master of Divinity degree while working in the church. Over 36 years of church work from youth pastor to senior pastor, plus 10 years of work with the local Sheriff as a deputy and acting lieutenant, paved the road for this book. I was granted many opportunities to deal with people and the results of pornography and thought life issues. Viewing real stories of the destruction of this “drug” and seeing the need to help people “Fix” this from a deeper level is biological and spiritual. While writing this book to help tackle this massive issue, I still consider having and raising five kids with my wife as one of my greatest passions. Randle Record has been a pastor for nearly 40 years.
